The association
With the primary aim of strengthening Unterschleißheim as a business location, the Innovative Community Unterschleißheim (ICU e. V.) was founded on 11 May 2000 by twelve local companies and the town of Unterschleißheim.
The members
Members of ICU e. V. are companies and entrepreneurs from our town or from the region with a connection to Unterschleißheim. They benefit from a strong network that gives them access to regional partners. In addition, the platform offers the opportunity for an exchange of ideas, whether through informal meetings or within focussed interest groups.
In this community, synergies can be created, knowledge shared and innovations driven forward.
The knowledge advantage
The office, the heart of the association, is the contact point for members. It keeps an eye on business issues and supports members with their concerns.
As it is based in the business development centre of the town of Unterschleißheim, the office benefits from short information channels. Members receive timely and relevant information from important institutions such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bayern International, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the City of Unterschleißheim.
The benefits
Members of the ICU e. V. enjoy free or discounted access to events, specialist lectures and training programmes. In order to maximise the benefits of membership, the committed participation of members is crucial.
Members' vacancies can be published on our homepage. We also support members with property brokerage. Members can agree special conditions for services and products with each other.
Milestones of the ICU e.V.
In 1999, the idea of the ICU (Innovative Community Unterschleißheim) was born in the context of a feasibility study of the company Dynamis on the business location Unterschleißheim. 2020 the city of Unterschleißheim founds the ICU e.V. with 12 company representatives.
